At least landfills are now doing many things to protect the soil from the more harmful chemicals, such as putting them in separate areas that have been lined with protective substances.

Another issue is the use of inorganic pesticides on plants and gardens. Many environmental organizations are lobbying the government to protect the soil from toxic chemicals. Through more strict laws and regulations on certain pesticide sprays and the increase in organic farming, there’s hope that soil pollution will improve. Many manufacturers want to change by doing things including making use of biodegradable materials in their products. Of all the nations on the planet, the United States has the most serious trouble with soil pollution. Advances in technological innovations and disregard for the environment are the major causes of the polluted soil.

Nonetheless, as more individuals find out about soil pollution, the more action is being taken to remedy the problem.
